How Durack translates raw steel into seismic-certified, highly stable structural arrays
Every dynamic AS/RS system we design undergoes simulated Finite Element Analysis (FEA) before tooling begins. Our engineers model seismic forces (based on USGS and Eurocode parameters), dynamic loading from accelerations of shuttle carts (up to 2.0 m/s²), and vertical structural deflection limit calculations. Structural profiles are designed to limit elastic deformation to under L/300, avoiding positioning issues with optical sensors on automated cranes.
